Questions of Europe’s energy security have recently risen on the agenda, as the EU has decided to phase out imports of Russian natural gas by 2027. How is this political and news agenda reflected in the Polish public’s understanding of energy security? Data collected as part of a broader study in December of 2025 through January of 2026 with 1022 respondents and a theoretical margin of error of +/-3.1% demonstrates that energy security is a key concern for the Polish public and that the transition to renewables is viewed as a net security benefit for the country.
